Engine / "AI" Roster Lock

Can anyone clarify this for me, please and thank you.

If you apply either of the roster locks, either the one in the main settings for all teams or on a specific basis in the team settings page, does this stop ALL roster moves or just the signing and/or releasing of players?

In other words, if I have this setting checked, will the "AI" still promote and demote players within the franchise and handle / change lineups and replace injured players etc or make absolutely no moves whatsoever?

Appreciate any insights.

Where is there a setting for "AI/Engine roster lock"?

Are you referring to the option to put yourself in charge of all teams?

The option to "Set all Computer Teams to not allow roster change"?

Can you clarify please?

I'm referring to the two options marked with arrows in the attached screenshot.

The league one sets the team checkbox for all teams. And it prevents all AI moves - trades, calling up players, setting lineups, setting strategies, putting guys on the IL, etc...

I do really wish there was a way to lock the AI from making moves while still allowing some changes, such as setting strategies and player development plans.
