Alternate - here's where things start to get crazy. They presented a red jersey with patterns evoking things typical to Oaxaca: an agave plant, a church, several figures, but also baseball bats and helmets. Perhaps it could be recreated more cleanly but I think it's good enough as is.


Alternate 2 - This time they went for a "rótulos" style jersey with Mexican pink and light blue. Very Mexican, though more reminiscent of the capital's rótulos than something uniquely Oaxacan.


Alternate 3 - Once again we see these patterns, but this time it's only spiky baseballs, bats and helmets. A very unique hat, with the scripts Guerreros and Bélicos, one of the team's nicknames.

Pericos de Puebla - With the season already underway, I have only a few teams left to go through. Puebla announced these on the 16th I think.

Away - Apparently fans in general aren't liking what New Era did with their teams this year, these jerseys got some hate on the announcement post.



Alternate - Admittedly, these would have been way cooler as away jerseys.



Alternate 2 - My terrible work makes no justice to how cool these jerseys look irl. The image is supposed to represent Popocatépetl, which is an active volcano just outside of the city.

I love the wide variety of colors used in the alternate jerseys. Too many of the US leagues have alternates that look too similiar

AFAIK LMB does just generic block numbers for all teams, so it's just the default but recolored. I did generate them so I'll edit the posts accordingly to avoid separate posts for the same jerseys.

Yeah LatAm teams definitely have more fun with colors than the more traditionalist MLB. This creativity leads to some pretty ugly jerseys but also some bangers that become fan favorites.

Thanks! Hope the community can make use of them. I'll be posting Veracruz and Yucatán hopefully today or tomorrow.

El Águila de Veracruz were gracious enough to provide explanations on their design choices. Note in case anyone is confused as I was: The club has existed in two iterations, one from 1903 to 2017 as Rojos del Águila de Veracruz. The old team nickname would be Rojos (Reds) as Águila de Veracruz was the company that founded the club in the early 20th century. After the club was brought back to life in 2020, they were known only as El Águila de Veracruz, without the color.

Home - they went for a unique look with a "vanilla" color, vanilla is the state's biggest export.



Away - Red is their classic color and they went with a shark on the front to represent the Gulf of México.



Home Alternate - with a black color to represent the Common Black Hawk (Aguililla Negra Menor in spanish), they reimagined the wordmark to represent flight.



Away Alternate - Blue means going back to the club's original colors and the 1960s, when the club first began using a Veracruz wordmark.

Alternate (They presented all 4 jerseys with white pants and all of them say Leones so I'm not sure which is the away kit.)

And that's the league! If anyone is interested I'll be making kits for some Liga del Norte de México and Liga Estatal de Chihuahua teams for my own save.
