Trainers & Injuries
I had a season that involved the loss of six different starting pitchers and five relievers to season ending arm injuries, followed by a season losing two starters and a reliever to season ending arm injuries as well as losing my ace to a career ending injury. Only had two pitchers rated “fragile”. Trainer has “good” reputation, prevention focused, and “outstanding” rating at preventing arm injuries.
Is there some personality trait (struggles with personality type X) that players or trainers have that reduces the trainer’s ability to prevent injuries? Are coach/trainer trait ratings vary from the stated level like the inaccuracies of the scouting system? Is this normal, or did I just get an unusual result from the RNG? Will firing my trainer and replacing him with someone else (not necessarily better) make any difference? Thanks! |

Yeha while it is unfortunate it is unlucky RNG. Sometimes it does feel like all the injuries come in bunches. But thats basically the mets in the early 2010's, and the braves the past two seasons. It happens. it sucks. No just get the best preventative trainer possible. most big injuries are in the elbow, shoulder, and knee. so arm and leg preventative trainers are the best in my opinion.
