Weird Player IDs and Money issues

PLAYING 11.4.49 (can't download latest version for some reason)

I have noticed two glitches:

1) Players are often scrambled, especially at the year-end awards and in free agency. As you can see from the attached photo as an example, Luke Adam won a number of NHL awards (Maurice Richard, Mark Messier and Jennings) even though he's not in the NHL. He is also not a goalie, which made him winning the Richard and the Jennings even weirder.

2) After playing 8-10 seasons, I have several times found that -- suddenly -- my cash disappears and the game won't let me move forward on July 31 unless I hand over financial responsibility to my "assistant" in the manager setup window. I don't know why this would happen (no change in ownership or anything) and it has never happened before in years of playing various versions of the game.

Regarding your 1st point - it was reported here, though it says that is was addressed in a patch. Are you playing the game on Steam? (here's the thread - https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...ht=luke%2Aadam)
