Is there any way to work for a team without being manager or GM?

I really want to be able to have control over the Mets org, but I feel that it is unrealistic if I take David Stearns spot and demote him to assistant gm. Is there anyway around this or do I just have to ride it out and pretend that he's the POBO and I am the GM?

I do the opposite, pretend I am the POBO and he's the GM, because that's essentially what happens with them reporting to you.

The game should have Presidents of Baseball OPs alongside GMs, In fact, every team should have Asst GMs not just the user, in my opinion
