No Barry Bonds?

Why is Barry Bonds never in these games? I thought maybe it was due to steroid cheating, but other from the steroid era - Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire are in the game.

If you mean OOTP, he's there when you use the historical database.

If you mean other games he had a fake likeness, it's because he opted out of the MLBPA licensing agreement in the early 00s.

Bonds opted out of MLBPA's licensing agreements so their representatives can make their own, presumably much more lucrative, deals. Problem is, unless a company is particularly interested in Bonds, they're just not going to bother so no one gets anything.
