Not promising anything, but I'll be watching tonight since the Mets are in the night game. The Tigers are .789 with me stuffing my snout while they play, also partly because I didn't see them at all in the last two weeks

The Jays must be cussing the humps who threw in the towel in the 8th; if Chad Green and Justin Bruihl didn't pitch as if they deserved to be banished to mop-up duty, things might have gotten dicey in the 9th.

But congrats to the Tigres. See, you can make it out of July alive!

Also, in fairness Jackson was out there for a tryout. He was robbed of a strike 3 call that unraveled him a bit. The Tigers weren’t about to use anyone of importance in that situation.

I am starting to think that they can add to the pitching staff with Cobb, Lange, Urquidy, and others. Bring up Hao-Yu Lee. Maybe avoid spending prospect capital entirely. Go after just Bednar if he can be got for something outside of the top 5 prospects.

Chris Paddack traded to the Tigers. Jokingly, I made the comment to a friend that this was the direct result of Luke Jackson's outing yesterday.

They also got what looks like a AAA depth guy - Randy Dobnak.

Gave up the system #14 Enrique Jimenez currently in FCL (who I have never heard of).

Thats because Briceno has shown something. Kind of a dealing from place of organizational strength. I did see Dobber was included. His claim to fame was he came out of the USPBL which is a 4 team indy league here in Utica. He is one of like 4 guys to make the jump. His picture is still posted outside of the stadium.
