Start a Real Life Season 1 August 25

Is there an easy way to start new game with all rosters post yesterday's trade deadline?
I tried manually making all the trades to my current save with unsatisfactory results. Guys did not come off the 40-man roster of the team they were traded from was one issue I saw, bet there are others, looks like I wasted several hours.

Sign in screen, go to new standard game. On the pop-up menu, choose live start and date.. But some trades won't show until players are on their new team's roster.

Be aware... in previous versions, the game will not move a player to his new team until he makes a game appearance there. This can be a problem, especially with minor league prospects because it might take a while for them to report to their new assignment. I admit that I have not tried the current year's version, so maybe it has been corrected.

It certainly would be prudent to wait a few days if you are picky about getting the best realistic rosters.
