Four members of the Vancouver Canadians have announced their retirement.

Andrew Bash was drafted by the Angels in 2019 but was released in 2020. He Hund around Independent Baseball until eh jays signed him out of the Pioneer League in 2021. He got as high as AAA.

Andrew Bechtold was drafted twice, by the Rangers in 2014 and again by the Twins in 2017, after college. The Jays signed him as a Free Agent it 2023 and he had set minor league success, but never got past AAA.

Max McDowell was drafted by the Brewers in 2015 and was later signed by the Yankees and then the Phillies, who traded him to the Jays in 2023. He peaked at AAA.

Gavin Collins was drafted by the Guardians in 2016 and later signed with the Rays, Cardinals, then the Jays earlier this year. He also got as high as AAA.

A big, four run 11th inning sent the Jays to an 11-8 win over the Rays.

Rafael Lantigua came in as a pinch hitter in the 8th (for Vladimir Guerrero Jr., of all people), but he turned out to be the exact spark the Blue Jays needed as he went 3 for 3, driving in two and scoring twice.

Toronto saw homers from Aaron Judge, Marcell Ozuna, and Anthony Santander.

That may have been the worst outing of closer Adam Ottavino's career. He came in with a two run lead, faced four batters without recording an out, ending with a walk-off, two-run double by Jose Siri.

The Rays beat the Jays, 7-6.

Nate Pearson's strained ab muscle would have. cost him a few weeks. Obviously he is done for the season.

Keyshawn Askew is called up from Buffalo.

Some New Hampshire players announced their retirement.

Paolo Espino played parts of five seasons in the Majors, mostly with the Nationals but he also had stops with the Brewers and Rangers. The Jays signed him in the offseason but he never made it back to the Show.

Juan Hillman got as high as AAA. He signed with the Jays in April.

Al Pesto peaked at AA. He joined the Jays organization in June of 2023.

Brendon Little had one appearance with the Cubs in 2022 and got into 19 games with the Jays this year.

Pedro Fernandez signed a minor league deal with the Jays this June.
