16 team, 154 game schedule (2SL/1D/8T)

Hello! I'm looking for a schedule for a league with two identical subdivisions, each with one division of 8 teams.

The league should start on the first Monday on or after March 28th
No interleague play, each team should play each other team in their division 22 times (11H/11A), in 2 four game series and a 3 game series both home and away
All star break at the normal time (early July)

That's really it for the constraints, thank you!!

Code:
#
# 16 team schedule, 154 games
# Designed for the following configuration:
# 2 subleagues, each with 1 division of 8 teams
#
#
# 22 games against 7 other team in division (11H/1A)
# no interleague games
#
#
# Schedule consider balanced since opponents played same number of times
#
# Two subleagues are duplicates
#
#
# Each opponent played in 6 series, two 3-game and four 4-game
# With those series lengths, do not adhere to usual MLB two-series-per-week pattern
# Offdays scattered through schedule between series
#
# Teams play between 33 and 38 home games Fri/Sat/Sun
#
# No homestands or roadtrips longer than 4 series
#
# All game times set as 7:05pm
#
# Season begins first Monday on or after March 28
# Season ends first Sunday on or after September 18
# Season spans 175 days
#
# All-Star Game set for first Tuesday on or after July 5 (day num 100)

Would this schedule be the one I want if I'm looking for a 154-game schedule for 16 teams that all play each other?

(I'm looking for a standard schedule for, say, the 1950s, only with interleague play included ... I'm replaying 1956 and I'd like AL and NL to play each other.)

thanks

Rob

This one has no interleague, so it is not what you want. Looking at the link list the configuration of two 8-team subleagues and 154 games with interleague seems to be a rather unfilled niche.

Feel free to make a request (in a new thread, please) if you cannot find something you want. Key details to specify...

How many games against opponents... If only one 3-game series against each interleague opponent you could have 18-19 per league opponent. At 6 games per interleague opponent (to get series both home and away), you end up with like 15-16 per league opponent. Not that those are the only options.

Timeframe for schedule... The real 1956 schedule was 154 games from Apr17-Sep30, which is 166 days. 2025 is 162 games (ignoring CHC/LAD in Tokyo a week before) from Mar27-Sep28, which is 185 days. I think the offday distribution is fairly similar, but doubleheaders allowed for the shorter duration. I can do doubleheaders in what I build, but unless requested I avoid them since they mean more effort in my process.

I went ahead and made this: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=364944. Maybe it works or can be tweaked in like start/end date to work for you.
