Anyone had good luck with Willits?

His ratings were studly when he first came out 5 seasons ago, wish his BABIP was slightly better than it is though (it's in the 130s). However, he's been underperforming for me overall (one season he was good). The studs being released with higher BABIP are definitely "curving" out his performance. Also, his lower Power rating is likely hitting his numbers negatively too.

At this point I'm just holding on to him as a switch hitting platoon player and hoping for a worthy mission to pop up that needs him.

the numbers just are really kind of mid all throughout: there's no standout skill that's going to make him good at higher levels. no real weaknesses, but due to the normalization that's going to make things tougher.

I mean, Oscar Charleston has similar numbers (slightly better in BABIP, and better in Power) - but he's amazing. So it doesn't make sense that Willits is comparatively pathetic.

it's not close. plus charleston has top tier defense while willits is below par.
