Braden, who do you want your generic faces to look like? I will make them. Give me a name for each in-game ethnic background and I will give you png's exported from the facegen creating software to swap in. Then you can remove the ktx files with those png ones and control how generic man looks.

All I want is for the players on the FIELD (not the pictures in the lineups and batter & pitcher), not have beards or the 5 o'clock shadow.

I understand what you're looking for. Have the whole time so no worries there. So, I went back to OOTP 23 and the png file Chris was talking about is attached. I asked CHPT to make a generic one in the same proportions for a file called "euro" and made it a png. My result is attached. Then I swapped out euro.ktx for my new euro.png. In game it's a little wonky but you can see how after a few runs maybe GPT gets a closer version to swap out the euro.ktx file with a user-made euro.png file.

Ideally, OOTP would ship with a folder within that place where the generic heads live so there are at least maybe 5 choices per ethnicity that the suer can save into the primary folder. given Jorin has the tool, I'd hope it wouldn't be that hard a lift.

Sadly, the facegen software exporter didn't drop the parts of the face in the right places - at least in my limited attempts. Would love to hear from Jorin how he makes these. I'd love to have folks be able to make their own uniform-try-on guy.

It's different but there is facial hair for black players. The game reads the ethnicity of the player before choosing which of the generic default faces to use.
