The ID of the Cleveland player as Larry Staab is correct. The Ranger is (probably) Charlie Hudson, another lefty (1973), mostly known for his slouchy appearance (see attached). Umbarger was profoundly skinny. The only realistic possibility is Art DeFilippis who was in camp with them for many years in the '70s.

I do not believe any Voss images ever turned up in Topps Vault (although we know they shot him with the White Sox, Angels, and Brewers, and their photographer Doug McWilliams shot him with the A's). As I've mentioned many times the files were perfectly organized through the letter T and then they got very, very sporadic, and pretty much disappeared in the middle of the letter W.

Wait actually it seems like there was 2 Ryan Thompsons in the Astros organization at the time, a pitcher in the minors and an outfielder who had been in the majors since the 90s (According to Baseball Reference he signed with Houston again for the 2004 season but didn't get called up). I can't find a picture of the minor league pitcher for comparison but I am going to guess this is the outfielder one since in the other pics on Getty he is holding a bat and the pitcher was apparently only 21 at the start of the 2004 season while this guy looks older but I still want to make sure.

I found a nice photo of Cobb in the 4/15/1929 edition of the St. Louis Globe-Democrat. He was a 1 game major leaguer but spent all of Spring Training with the Browns.

Ben Taylor appeared in a couple of games for Cincinnati in 1912. In 1913 he played with Indianapolis in the new outlaw Federal League. This photo is from the Indianapolis Star on the even of Opening Day for Indianapolis. It is an improvement over the image on Baseball-Reference, IMO.

I confess to being somewhat confused as the uniform posted appears to show Kibbie wearing a chequered uniform whereas the Braves listed uniform for the relevant period shows it as being striped.

The faded quality of the newspaper image still looks to me like Kibbie is wearing the 1925 uniform during Spring Training in 1926. He was with the team from late February 1926 to mid April. He was released to Providence (which I have pictured).
