No shame, though. That is a really strong team that the Brewers are up against. And even though it doesn't look good at this point, it's not over yet.

I've seen enough postseason failures since '08 to know when it's over. The Brewers now have to face Glasnow or Ohtani. Game 3 is not looking good for an offense with zero pulse. Went into the playoffs crapping the bed. Going to go out crapping the bed.

Neat game Mr. Yamamoto pitched there.
Not that I wouldn't have preferred the Brewers to do something, anything, to stop him......

low, don't read this: Mariners-Jays. I don't think the Jays are pushovers and I believe the Brewers are in danger of being swept. I hope not, but . . .

Well that ALDS game 5 kind of messed up Seattle's rotation and Toronto normally has a good offense, so I'm not that surprised.

My set is glued to TBS at 6pm, US EDT. The Brew men must win!
And later, I'm looking for the Mariners to go up 3 games to one. One of these teams must stop the Dodger express.

On the one hand, I don't blame Max Scherzer. He's pitching great in the most important postseason game for him in years (he was sort of a non-factor in the 2023 playoffs with Texas, including the World Series), he's around 70 pitches with one more out to qualify for the win, and here comes John Schneider, looking like he's going to take Scherzer out of the ballgame. It would have been a nitwit move but par for the course these days.
On the other hand, Schneider lost face here. If I am a young guy on that team, I'm smirking. From The Athletic: Quote:

On a lighter note (no reverse pun intended), my heart goes out to Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk who makes me look like an Olympic athlete. (In my estimation.

Hey, careful there. I have a soft spot for chubby catchers. Alejandro Kirk. Hank Conger. All the ones whose name I forgot.

I'll be glad to watch him in person hopefully as I watch the Mariners in the world series for the first time.

Four games, four runs. Four.
Come on, Seattle!

Yes, tough luck, low. Let's hope Seattle can stop those guys.

Seattle can pitch around Vladdy. You can't pitch around the entire Seattle lineup.
