I still haven't come up with the exact perfect-to-my-specifications San Pedro de Macoris logo concept. I'm not married to this name, but I am using it for now. I feel like I have to come up with the best possible idea for this legendary baseball city. I do think my attempts at interlocking monograms are improving.

I've used an Oscar-statue themed team for years, always wanted a different concept. This idea comes from the La Brea Tar Pits, and fits as well as the team is likely to be a large market contender in any ootp game.

There's a Dodger blue and a light "snow" blue version. I'm also pretty happy with the monogram I made, the font is called The Black Night. I drew the columbian mammoth based on the many life reconstruction images I searched for.

Bonus team - I decided they moved from NY like the Dodgers. This is based on the 1920s Philadelphia Athletics logos (and is intentionally bad/rough). aka for verisimilitude, I just drew it once for fun and with an oversized eye. Source image.

The NY is from the New York Mammoths, the fictionalized faux-Yankees team in the novel/De Niro movie Bang the Drum Slowly, which I discovered existed while googling things like 'mammoth baseball'.
