Looking at page 52, it looks like the numbers for those ones are likely all normal, with the new draftees and updated major leaguer faces getting a few tens, and my random uncle who played minor league ball over a century ago understandably only getting 13.

Then immediately after Slivers the Baseball Clown who is a more obscure figure in the SABR books getting nearly 2000?

I remember for the ones on page 51 when I made the Edith Houghton one, I was on a trip in Providence and went out for dinner then when I came back she had like 50 views in an hour and I was like 'wow I didn't know that many people cared about scout fg's so much' but kind of just dismissed it thinking maybe they just liked the obscurity of it or something. I'm not sure if this bot may have hit that page too but it looks like most of the ones made by everyone on that page got an average of 70 to over 100 which I think is still kind of a lot for an average and 50 in 1 hour seems weird.

What would a bot be doing here and what would even be the incentive of this? Usually when I think of bots, I think of malware so it freaks me out a bit but so far it doesn't seem like anything bad happened.

There are bots that can download everything on a web page. Why that particular page? Why so many times? Who knows? Maybe it likes clowns. It's an action done to the page retrieving what it finds. It's not a danger to subsequent visitors. Think of something that games sites to give it clicks. That kind of thing.

I'm seeing if we can get a clean-shaven, 'stache-less David Wells. The Reds used to have the strictest facial hair policy in the majors, so when Boomer got traded to Cincinnati in the mid-90's, the 'stache stayed behind.

This is made from the same pic as the one in the game only I removed the mustache. Add -cs to the fg file name in the player editor and it should be his Cincinnati self.

Happy Thanksgiving right back at you, Patsy. Here is Tip, who was named Thomas in the game, but going forward in the database will be renamed Tip Fairchild. I had to lighten up the source pic I chose otherwise it was a little heavy on the facial hair.

Here ya go, with a -b at the end of the file name denoting beard. When he's on the 'Stros just add that to change his face.
