Weird screen and message stopping me from playing...

Hi, I'm currently playing as the Dodgers against Tampa and just finished a game and clicked on the button to "Finish Today" and got the following error message and screen (please see attachment).

In case you can't open it, it shows the Baltimore Orioles DSL (rookie league?) and then gives me an error message that states: "Scheduled game cannot be completed: Baltimore DSL Orioles Orange invalid foreigner restriction...." (more text but didn't want to keep typing).

I can't seem to work around this error. Please help. Thanks!

It worked! Strange that an Orioles Caribbean Development league team showed up during my Dodgers v Rays game, but its fixed!

I have a similar issue, a rookie league team in the KBL (the Hampyeong Tigers) bought the contract of a Dominican outfielder from the Detroit Tigers, and apparently the Korean Futures League doesn't allow foreigners to play.

The difference, is I'm in challenge mode, so I can't just boot him off the roster. How do I fix this without starting a new league?

Try going to League Settings for the KBL. Then the Functions tab. Middle of the screen near bottom "Run Computer Manager on All Teams" - maybe the AI will recognize the incompatibility and move him elsewhere or release him.

Another option is to, while in the KFL League Settings, go to the Rules tab, Foreign Player Limit and set to "no limit" advance a day, put it back and then try simming again - and see if it reacts differently.

Both those options look doable in Challenge Mode.

Running Computer manager on all teams didn't work.

Turning off Foreign player limit got me through the day, but the Tigers don't take the guy off their roster and I just hang the next day.

Now that I know I can just turn off the foreign player limit for that league, I'll do that so I can keep going - my MLB team doesn't care if the Korean rookie league stays all Korean - but it's a shame I need to change that.


EDIT: To try to keep the Korean Futures League from signing Quad A players and ruining development over there, I DID go back in and set 'Pro Service Time Limits' to 'No Pro Service Allowed'
