Jim Galligan (gallig001jim) and John Galligan (gallig001joh) are the same player John Galligan. gallig001jim doesn't exist and should be removed from the database (if he is in the pack remove him too)

William Stein is in the game with the minor league id stine-001har but at BBRef his id is stein-003---

Edit: there is a stine-001har FG in the pack, delete it I will include a new temporary one in my upgrade file with the Historical id (stineha01) since it is correct

Fixed. I'll delete the fg. You can give the new one the stein-003--- ID as that's who this fella will be going forward. This was a case where two players with similar names were separated by researchers and we are catching up to that.

Joe Otten (otten-001joe) and John Otten (otten-001joh) are the same player John Otten (otten-001joe).

If there is a otten-001joh in the pack it should be removed or renamed if there isn't an otten-001joe.

Dorsey Riddlemoser minor league id in the game is riddle001dor but riddle002dor at BBref.

PS: remove riddle001dor from the pack

Tom Stanton isn't loaded in 1900... the reason is because nothing is written in his real life stats for that year. If you check his real life stats you'll see that he played one inning as a catcher on the field without going at bat.

Jesse Purnell (purnel001jes) is listed as 6' - 140 pounds in the game, BBref say he was 5'5'' - 140 pounds which make more sense to be honest.

If it was reported I didn't find it (did a name search). Patsy O'Rourke (orourk001jos) is listed with an African Facial Type... obviously he is Caucasian as we talk of the 1908 MLB :-)

His listed birthplace on Baseball-Reference is Snake Creek, which is likely a reference to Snake Creek Farm Historical District, which Wikipedia says is near Hillsville, VA, also in Carroll County. I suggest his PoB should probably be made one of those two.

Thx for looking into it. Most modern addresses along present day Snake Creek Rd are Hillsville so went with that. fixed.

Hey bud, I suspect there might be a bug with the BoSox historical minors timeline. I'm still getting the Oakland Oaks as an affiliate in 1953.

They are listed on the csv as coming in for 1938 but I can't find any record at all of them ever even being a Sox affiliate, and certainly not still one into the 1950s.

They were briefly a Yankees AA affiliate in the 1930s, but never part of the Boston system according to BBRef.

Might be worth further investigation.
