The lag

Hi there, been an OOTP player for a few years now and have never had this issue persist for so long. Every time I am about 20-30 mins into a session my game lags so bad that I have to hover over file for 10 seconds save for 10 seconds and then quit for 10 seconds and suddenly my whole computer can barely work and I have to do the same slow hovers and restart my computer. I have a fairly new and nice computer and am wondering what may be causing this? I bought through Steam and all updates are valid. I have noticed it usually happens when I am looking at a lot of profiles, but then again thats part of the game. Thanks!

Is it synching to OneDrive? That's the most likely thing I can think of. See if you can not have the OOTP files synch.

No I dont even have onedrive setup... This is terrible its almost unplayable

I'll throw out a couple of things that probably won't matter...

Is OOTP whitelisted in your anti-virus software? With nothing happening for 20 to 30 into your session not likely, but when grasping at straws maybe worth looking.

A few years ago I bought a nice new computer. OOTP was the only app that crashed and that crash took the computer to a total reboot as if I had shutdown the computer and then started it back up. My thought was it had to be OOTP and how it interacted with the new computer. Matt, Lukas and others on the OOTP team worked with me trying to find a solution (great support). Then after about 2 months a different app finally did the same crash. It wasn't OOTP is was the new computer. Sent it to the manufacturer twice and they couldn't find a fix. Ended up sending me a new replacement that never crashes. Only point being sometimes it is the new computer. If you still have your old computer, or access to another machine, maybe load the league up on it and see if you have the lag there too?

Just throwing out a couple of ideas. Maybe you already tried them out.

It was so frustrating when I was having my issues described above. I hope you find a quick fix for yours.

I am also having lag issues and even when i leave the game i have reboot to make it go away it has been going on at least since Xmas. Thank you
