Problem with roster choices on computer team

1970 Braves have unworkable roster choices. 7 OF, 2 C, 3 1B, 3 for the rest of the IF. The regulars get quite tired. The computer manager is using Mike Epstein as a sub at SS and 3B. He has no rating at these positions and throws left handed!

I demoted one of the 1B, waived one of the two OF who were Rule 5 picks, and promoted a 2B and SS from AAA. The computer can't undo the Rule 5 waive but I've experienced it reversing actions when it can.

It's almost like the game has a one random stupid gm in the mix and if a team hires him, they are screwed. I had a team in my league absolutely refuse to add a catcher to their reserve roster, even after one of their catchers on 25 man roster went down with an injury. For the entire season the backup catcher for this team was whatever random position player it chose to stick behind the plate. The following year rolled around and the team was adequately staffed both on the 25 and their reserve roster. It's even crazier in your case, because I'm pretty sure you're using historical minors.

Full minors and no retire according to history. Tenth season. There is not a shortage of players.
