Just messing around a bit and it seems velocity has a huge impact on pitch ratings (at least when shown cosmetically) which makes sense but I guess I was distancing those 2 things too much vs how the game interprets it.

Sounds like something new that I too would like to understand. Some may be game impacting and some may be cosmetic. We’ll see. This is the first year in a while I’ve seen weirdness in historical attributes in the editor and in results.

You are the referee on that one because what is in the database is correct and incorrect.

Hector Rodriguez is listed as hispanic in the database but personally I would list him as african. He is Cuban but a black Cuban and if we want to be historically correct it's important to notice that he was prevented to play in the MLB before 1947 because he was classified by the MLB as a black man not an hispanic man. Also baseball card make it obvious...

It's the last OOTP26 database so that make sense that some will be corrected, but better to be safe than sorry... I haven't downloaded 27 yet.

Actually not a mistake and something that I think would make a great loading screen tooltip:
Ted "Double Duty" Radcliffe, Negro League star of the 1930s and 1940s, is credited in the game with an appearance with the Schaumberg Flyers in 1999, at the age of 97.
This is, in fact, accurate, and makes him the oldest person to ever make an appearance in a professional baseball game!

I see where Soto now has the circle change so it appears your changes made it into the recent patch but none of the rating values have shifted at all so it must be something different at play here, though I appreciate you going through and updating!

Clarification:

W/R/T pitch types, everything looks good if you create the league in 26 and import it into 27 vs creating it directly in 27. Creating it in 27 has the issues I mentioned earlier.
