Schedule Request 40 Teams 2S/8D/5T 80 Games

Requesting a schedule to accommodate expansion of my current league:

40 teams- 2 sub leagues- 8 divisions- 5 teams in each division- 80 games.
8 games vs division opponents (32 games)
28 games vs non division same sub league opponents
20 inter league games
3/4 game series
1 3/4 game series Mon-Thur
1 3/4 game series Thur-Mon
1 off day every week
All-Star game/break
Season start April 1

I hope I’ve included everything. Thanks

I don't know how feasible it is to have 1 day off per week, but if that makes it more difficult to build the schedule, I could do without it.

Those pieces do not really work together.

If you want one offday every week, that works with all 3-game series, Fri-Sun and either Mon-Wed or Tue-Thu.

With all 3-game series, one way would be to do three per division opponent (4*9=36 total division games), single series against 2-3 opponents per division in same subleague (24 total interdivision games), and single series against 1-2 opponents per division in other subleague (18 total interleague games). To get to 80 total could add two more games of one of those types to make 4-game series, at the cost of offdays those weeks.

That would be straightforward. With the numbers you gave for the total numbers of games I am not sure how that would convert into individual series.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. Let's go with the all 3 game series (with the 2 additional 4 game series to get to 80) you suggested. That may work better.
