Extensions
So 27 is great, don't get me wrong.
I think it is still way, way too easy for both AI teams and the player to sign guys to extensions and AI teams are way too willing to just hand them out to anyone. Additionally, rookies with high potential are way too eager to take. I basically refuse to sign McGonigle, Griffin, etc-esque extensions because it feels crazily unfair lol. A lot of guys with 60/65 potential will basically ask for a Cooper Pratt extension. Plus it still (incorrectly) nukes PPI anyway. Do you all think that it would be wise for the logic to be tweaked to (1) make extensions a bit harder to sign across the board (2) make rookie extension demands scale a bit more with potential? |

I haven't played enough to have seen many extensions signed. I do wonder if this could be put on a slider, like trade difficulty, so users could customize it? Slider selection could be put on the same page as trading and favor prospects or veterans. I'd think a v28 addition and not something for a patch.

I think it is adjusted in the new difficulty settings. But I have not experimented with them.
