Card Shop idea....

I have no idea how tough this would be, but an active "notification system" operating in the Card Shop would be a super addition to Perfect Team.

An email (or even mobile push) system for:

* completed sales
* accepted bids
* outbid notices
* major watchlist price changes

…would make the economy feel much more modern.

If OOTP ever built a lightweight PT companion app or web auction monitoring app it would probably increase:

* engagement
* auction activity
* PP circulation
* retention

Because market participation becomes addictive once friction of monitoring it drops.

You can put a card on your watchlist. I have no idea whether they notify your email or just notify you when you are logged in. The issue is that the volume of cards traded through the AH is pretty small.

I estimate that there are about 400K packs dropped every week. Some people hoard them for use at strategic times. But still, I suspect that about 2 million cards get put into circulation every week. More than half of them are irons, and more than half of the rest are bronzes. So until you get to silvers, most cards are constantly available (except for new low-level cards for active missions).

But I suspect that most of the irons and a lot of the bronzes are just quicksold if they are duplicates, probably more than a million cards are quicksold every week. And most of the rest are kept. I would guess that, of the 3000 or so cards in play right now, very few of them have more than a couple of dozen listed on the card shop per week. Even if you put a bid out that is above fair value for a gold or diamond card, they can take a few days to sell.
