Real: 1986-Madison, 89, 94
Fake: 1986-Gulf Coast, 87, 88, 90, 92, 93

I just finished my first season as the Guards GM and unfortunately just missed the 2026 playoffs by 1.5 games!!! Ugh!

I noticed in the email message it said this:

"Stephen Vogt, manager for the Cleveland Guardians said it's a "dark day" for his club. The reason? The Guardians were officially eliminated from playoff contention earlier today.

This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2022. In total, the Guardians have missed the playoffs 140 times in their 156-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Guardians have missed the playoffs 5 times. Cleveland has won the World Series 2 times in their history. "

However, the Guards have not missed the playoffs for 4 years in a row? They appeared in the playoffs in 2024 and 2025?? Sorry if this is the wrong place for this and is supposed to be players only.

I then double-checked the team history and sure enough, the game thinks they did miss the playoffs for 4 years in a row (now including 2026). Anyways, not a huge deal and just wanted to share!

Obviously I know why it happens (no AB) but if you track them... Ramon Aviles (aviles001ram) doesn't load in 1977 he only does in 1979.

Added the batting line. He should come in. He had a PA and a SH so that should be good enough to be pulled going forward.

Damion Easley imports as caucausian. His SABR biography lists his parents as "His father was half-Puerto Rican, half-Jamaican; his mother was Cuban with Cherokee Indian blood."

Probably best to start a new thread as that isn't a result of an errant field I can fix in the database. Also include if it is Steam purchased or a FastSpring purchased game.

Something is odd with both Dave Roberts (players in the 70s) facegen.

Both are in the db as Caucasian, but both appear with the same African facegen. I don't know the historic facegens that well (I just take whatever shows up...), but are they mixed up with the Dodger's manager Dave Roberts?

I tried to regenerate the pic, but they don't really change (that I can tell).

The player IDs all appear to be correct when checked on BB-Ref.
