Import NEL players into established save

I am in the 4th season of my save. Started as a live start. Can I import players from the Negro leagues as free agents? Thanks.

As long as you're in commissioner mode then yep importing would work the same.

In the list of free agents, and Commish on, upper right in the header bar. Use their BBR code. If pre 1920 use what their MLB BBR code, if they had one, would be and the suffix -98 Everyone's ID is in the Master.csv file under /stats if that helps too.

I don't understand. Please simplify with step by step instructions. I do know how to import players. Thanks.
