10/5 rule got you down?

If you're playing a historical sim, you might be able to turn it off and swing that deal for Willie Mays.

Even though OOTP always defaults the 10/5 option to ON, it actually didn't exist until the 1973 season, the same year the AL added the Designated Hitter. So don't feel bad if you want to turn it off and work on that deal for Stan Musial!

Also, mid-season trading deadlines didn't exist until 1917, so don't be afraid to turn it off and make that late, LATE pennant drive push for Christy Mathewson.

1917-1919: August 20
1920-1985: August 1
1986-2021: July 31
2022- : confusing, but usually around Aug 1-2

August waiver trades could be made from 1986-2018
