Obviously want an All-Star Break, and start date is easily changed.

Big thing is game distribution. Sounds like divisions might be arbitrary and idea would be basically balanced scheduled. 160 games divided by 14 opponents is around 11.5. I started playing around with numbers with a couple 10s, a few 11s, and rest 12s, but did not settle on anything yet. At least one team must be off at all times, which factors into how to distribute games and series.
