Player Development Suggestion

I would love to see player development reworked in a future version of OOTP, especially for minor league realism.

One feature that would add a lot of immersion is a true **Player Development List** system. In real baseball, not every player is simply active, injured, or released. Organizations often have players working behind the scenes on specific development goals, whether that is swing adjustments, pitch design, defensive work, strength training, command, plate discipline, baserunning, or learning a new position.

In OOTP, it would be great if teams could place certain players on a development list where they are not counted the same way as fully active roster players, but they are still part of the organization and actively working on specific skills.

For example, a team could assign a player to work on:

* Developing a new pitch
* Improving command or control
* Adding velocity
* Changing defensive position
* Improving catcher defense or game-calling
* Improving plate discipline
* Adjusting launch angle or contact approach
* Strength and conditioning
* Rehab-style baseball activity without being fully injured

This could tie into coaching, facilities, player personality, work ethic, development budget, and organizational philosophy. Some players could respond well to targeted development plans, while others might not improve much or could even regress if the wrong plan is chosen.

It would also make minor league roster management much more realistic. Instead of every prospect needing to be active or stuck on a reserve roster, organizations could have a limited number of development list spots at each affiliate. This would help replicate how real MLB organizations manage crowded minor league rosters while still giving players time to work on specific areas.

A system like this would make player development feel more hands-on, strategic, and realistic. Right now, development can feel too passive. Adding development lists and individual player plans would give users more control over how their organization builds players from the lower minors to the majors.

I think this would be a major step forward for immersion, especially for players who enjoy running the full farm system and trying to mirror real-life player development.
