Draft slot values, budgets, bonus demands
Please, please, please fix this in the next version. Especially for historical games. As is, they are completely disconnected from reality and are, essentially, random.
Currently dealing with the 2023 draft class (set the baseline at $4.5M, yielding a #1 pick slot value of $9M). Cole Schoenwetter's demand is $10M; irl he was the 105th pick and signed for $1.8975M. Bishop Letson demands $8.5M; irl the 332nd pick signed for under $500K. Jacob Gonzalez got $3.9M in real life; game JG will settle for $750K. And on and on and on.
Also, teams' draft budgets bear no relation to their overall slot value. So, in my game, Detroit has a total budget of just $2.39M; the slot value of only their first pick, #3, is $4.39M (that's using the default baseline of $2.5M).
C'mon. This information is out there and readily available. There's no excuse. Sure, I can spend a ton of time editing team finances (another system in need of a complete overhaul), fiddling with financial ambitions, adjusting baselines, etc, but I don't think I could ever arrive at a nearly realistic outcome.
Please, please, please fix this.
