Hey everyone, so I'm as obsessed with this game as anyone else, but I have been going through some crazy life stuff over the past few years, I even had to stop playing for a while for a complicated set of reasons, but came back around July 4 in PT 26. I say all that only to say, I haven't been a big part of the social scene around the game and am kind of a lurker by nature generally (I know this is going to come as a great shock to the people that would be as obsessed with a virtual baseball card collecting/autobattler game as I am, but I am on the spectrum )

ANYWAY! What I did want to say is, while I have not had much time to explore these resources up until pretty recently, the sites with tools for this game that people have created -- CWhit, ItsHellboy, xtoforas, and the folks who created databotai.site (sorry I can't remember who offhand but I think I recall hearing that was a HotL creation, which wouldn't surprise me, that group is full of super smart and good folks)... and there may be even more than this....

Y'all are legends. I've literally never seen a big online multiplayer game like this where people put in lots of work to help their competition get better. Or if there are tools like these, they cost a lot of money to use. I wanted to express how much I respect y'all for making these tools available to everyone, and to publicly thank you.

The amount of features on offer at some of these sites are honestly mind-bogglingly robust and super helpful. There's even scientific literature on one site getting into theoretical concepts around the game (the one I read had to do with Perfect Drafts, on beanecounter, and that should be required reading for every player. Please keep it up!). Beanecounter, cwhitstats, xtoforas, and databotai.site are incredible. I'm sorry if I missed any, please feel free to let me know!

thanks for the shout! i like to think that i'm only lowering the barrier to entry, not giving away any real advantage. i want people to have all the information possible to make good decisions, but the decision making is really important. you aren't going to immediately have amazing teams looking at the data, but you'll at least know more to make those right decisions. shouts to everyone who has broken the data seal this year, really great to see so many public tools out there!
