Moffet played for the Toledo Blue Stockings (alongside Fleet Walker) in 1884. He is pictured with the Walkerville team of 1888, who won the Montana State League that season. This terrible quality image was printed in the August 4, 1940 edition of The Montana Standard.

I really appreciate this photo. I'm playing a historical sim where I match great pitching staffs with lousy hitting teams and 1927 represents the Dodger hitters. Since I play it in the 1968 environment, a lot of my custom cards become 1968s (plus, the template is easy to manipulate). Here's what I did with your colorization.

I tried to bring out a few more facial features of Joe Moffet by going back to the original newspaper photo that cinemaodyssey found. There's not much to be done with this photo, but perhaps this head shot version will give a little better idea of his features.

I know that some members of these boards are plugged into such things, so I thought I'd ask - is there any expectation that the TV may start churning out some images any time soon? I can't imagine the Vault is empty just yet.

Not as good a photo as rrb77's, but this does give a full uniformed image of McNeil with the Red Sox. This pictures him during Spring Training in 1919.
