Holy moly - these are an absolute treasure. The 'Stick was a dump compared to Pac Bell/Oracle/AT&T but for an 80s kid it was home and played host to some exciting ball for a number of years. Man oh man...cannot praise this work enough. Gonna have to replay the '87 and '89 NLCS now and fill that overlarge upper deck to the hilt! And then after that I'm going to redo the 1993 season and destroy the Braves LOL

You might want to check out Nielsoncp's version of (new) Globe Life. I am not aware of the Ballpark @ Arlington anywhere.

Unfortunately that one hasn't been made yet

Candlestick 1970-1978 is now available

This is when the park had Artificial turf and 12 foot fences (some of the years, decided to go with the taller ones)

Enjoy

BTW, I updated the links, so the pics/info should work for all parks on my first post

It's weird-

Why would OOTP not do that one?

I looked at OOTP 20 and they have Globe Life Park in Arlington.

It doesn't look too generic.

Is this the one you see?

I've heard of add-on central, but I have no idea what the heck it is. Is it a website? I know I've googled the term before but I didn't have any success. I'm kind of stupid though, so maybe I missed it. Again, thank you for taking the time to help!
Add ons Central or AOC, the non crazy version, is located in the game under Game or Menu? in whichever league you have loaded. I have not played around with it for 21 but for most versions you have to add a .xml to it to unlock all the features. Maybe someone else can add to this. There are logos, parks, jerseys, facegens and photos on there.

Thank you so much for this. My introduction to baseball was going to Giants games throughout the 1980s, often sitting in those bleachers beyond the left field fence, and it's so great to now have that stadium exactly as I remember it now available to use in OOTP.

Maybe you could Dowload the demo version for free and if it has that park, you can just copy it over to your 21 parks folder.

It just dawned on me that both Turner Field and The Ballpark at Arlington are now historical. Which means I should probably create my own version. Could be my next projects

Based on your work Silvam, that would ABSOLUTELY be the best solution!

Your parks are incredible, and add so much to the feeling of actually being there..

True treasures- I can't wait to see those if you can do it...

When I play the Rangers now, I just get a generic park....definitely not a real one

Thanks
Swede

If that happens you have to load the .obj file

Hey Silvam, quick question. Regarding copying over the 2020 Globe Life Park in Arlington file from the 2020 "models" folder how do you get that one to work in the 2021 game? I go through the usual recent process for manually adding the files etc but when I select the "prk" file for it or even the "pod" file for it it won't load in the 2020 version. It states "The Import failed" in 2D (no photo) then it says in 3D "Error". I was under the assumption the stadium files in 2020 couldn't transfer over with no modification into the 2020 game but when I saw your post to "Swede" telling him to copy it from 2020 files to and add into the 2021 files I am now confused. I, like Swede, would like Globe Life Park Arlington available for use in 2021 game since I play historically most of the time. I hate to bother you while you are working on your masterpieces with this question but it is a big question for me.

backgrounds for several stadiums blacked out

I just bought OOTP 21, after having played OOTP in the past, and just wanted to say I am completely amazed and appreciative of the efforts of everyone that makes these 3D historic and fictional stadiums! They have added incredible enjoyment and immersion to my games!

So, I have uploaded my OOTP 20 save to OOTP 21 and redownloaded all the stadiums I use to the models folder per instructions, and 80% of them are working great. I am having blacked out backgrounds for several stadiums, including Exhibition Stadium, Palace of the Fans, Metropolitan Stadium 1961, and Colt Stadium so far. See picture of Exhibition Stadium for example.

I have read through this thread, but don't see a solution. I see many of them are in process of being updated, so maybe that is the case? Thanks.
