Contracts Out of Whack?

I currently have an above average 3B. Contact rating a 7, power an 8. I went to offer him a contract extension and he wants $154,000,000 over 5 years. He's asking for almost $31 million a year?!
I have an average SS that wants $32 million over 2 years. 5 of the other 7 remaining upcoming free agents are after respectable deals though. I have yet to play a game during the season, so maybe that might change some of the asking prices...but those two players clearly do not deserve the type of contracts they are after.

This is the only one I could find in search...so...

I offered a guy:
Year 1: $864,000
Year 2: $595,000
Year 3: $555,000
Team option
400pa for $850,000 and
1,500,000 for MVP

It says he wouldn't think about it.

I change it to:
Year 1: $774,000
Year 2: $595,000
Year 3: $555,000
Team option
400pa for $850,000 and
1,500,000 for MVP

He will think about it.

That doesn't seem right. Also, see next post.

I attempt to click the "+$1m" button and it only adds $900,000.
I attempt to click the "+$100k" button and it only adds $90,000.
I attempt to click the "+$10k" button and it only adds $9,000.
I attempt to click the "-$10k" button and it only subtracts $9,000.
I attempt to click the "-100k" button and it only subtracts $90,000.

I'd like to see what happens as you advance a bit. The game is definitely better with contracts when there are some statistics there...

Which bug is that? The first or the second? Contract negotiations or the button pressing.

Trying to see if a bug exists for the second in our system

MM, this one is TT # 1476, and has been fixed by Markus in the patch.

FYI, it would help if you post separate issues in separate threads, even if the topics are in the same general functional area... Thanks!

Regarding this one, we haven't been able to replicate this issue. If you have seen this again, or if you can cause it to happen again, can you please give us more information? This is TT #1475.

Thanks!
