Manager Age
Playing as Mgr born in 1974 and starting in 2006. Reads my age as 28 (if only this worked in real life, my wife would love you!)

I noticed this too.
From what I can figure, if you renamed the original "Joe Unknown" as yourself and changed the birthday, then the original age is kept. If you add a manager, then age is displayed correctly on the new addition. It does need addressing nonetheless. |

dola,
In all seriousness, I just created a new game where I started the league in 1970, and my manager was born in 1941. All of a sudden, he's 64 with a DOB in 1905!!!!!!!!!! |

Can managers die? Now I have to make one that's already 100 when he dies and sim for awhile...
Of course, I would love for the game to incorporate potential death for players/managers....a whole new stat, life expectancy |

I have tested this in the patched version, and it appears to be working fine now. Closing this thread for now. Please submit a new thread if this crops up again!
Edit: I lied. Part of this is fixed. It calculates the age correctly, but if you start a league in a non-2006 year, it miscalculates your birth year. Still open. Last edited by battists; 06-14-2006 at 01:32 PM. |

I started a 1980-based game and created my manager, born in 1949. Once I entered the game, my mamager was magically born in 1913 all of a sudden!

Human Manager Age Problem
The game is constantly adding around 100 years to the age of my human manager (me) almost every time (I say almost because it has happened probably 7 out of 10 times). Ive been importing the 1903 season and doing all of the normal stuff, but when I "start" and I add in my human manager, Ill put in 1874 as my birthdate, but the game changes it. In my last setup, I put in 1874 but the game shows 1771 as my birthdate, making me 131 years old
![]() I saw this happen a bunch of times, so I would click on a different year then click back on 1874. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt Last edited by Nukester; 07-11-2006 at 12:42 AM. |

I always have the same problem. I just go to "add another general manager" and re-edit my birthday. Kind of annoying though.

Having been born in 1767, I was told the Revolution would fix this. Then I was told the Civil War would fix this. Then the first world war....
