Alt + Tab

I was setting up a league and I was using alt + tab to change from the program to the game manual. When I alt + tab back to the game, the game would not come back up. It looked like it tried to bring it back up, the screen flashed in windows opened then shut again... but in the end it came back to my desktop. I tried to bring the game up through the windows task bar and it did the same thing.

I've never had this problem before with other programs, including FM... and i had ootp set to full screen mode. Regardless, I had to restart the game because I couldnt get it to load to the screen.

Great job on the game btw... I love it. Very impressed.

I have had the same issue...using fullscreen. I continuted trying to open and it finally "took." I figured that I had something hosed on the laptop and that it was just me. Maybe not...

You're not the first person to report this. It clearly seems related to ALT+TAB in Full screen. I'll TT it momentarily (log a bug)

For what it's worth, I only have this problem on my laptop. I am able to "Alt+Tab" in full screen mode without any problem on the desktop computer.

I had an Alt-TAB problem with windowed mode. The game window completely disappeared from the task bar when I Alt-Tabbed to the game manual. I tried re-running the game, but got a "Fatal Error" that said OOTPB was still running, even though it could not be seen. I used Ctrl-Alt-Delete to look at the Applications, and OOTPB was running! When I closed out of Applications, OOTPB magicallt re-appeared. I have tried to replicatethis, but so far, it only happened once.

I can alt-tab between them, but what I'm seeing even by selecting it via the mouse is that it doesn't put the window in the forefront (I can't toggle between mozilla and OOTP, I have to minimize one to get to the other). I'm in the middle of creating a new game, maybe it works after the initial setup.

Guys, we haven't been able to reproduce this issue at all. Are you still experiencing this problem? If so, can we try to get some more specific detail on what's happening?

Thanks...

Dola,

when I am testing the newest patch, ALT-TAB is flawless.

There are fixes to the .exe that have made me go

This should be fixed in the next patch. At least, we've been unable to replicate it. Moving it to the Claimed Fixed forum!
