Repeating crash

1. What, specifically, were you doing when the problem occurred? Include the specific screen you were on when the problem occurred.
Originally the crash repeated on 3 seperate occasions - all on the game recap screen where the Leave Game button appears on the bottom left.
2. What happened? Was there an error message? If so, what was the specific message?
XP error: "ootp2006.exe has ebncountered a problem and needs to close."
3. Were you able to repeat the error with this same game? With another game? If so, what steps did you take?
Repeated it. Crashed once after I managed a game, second time I simmed through the entire game and it crashed in the same spot. Third time, same thing. Fourth time it crashed right after I clicked "ENTIRE GAME" under the QUick Play options (top of the 1st, no outs, no one up tp bat yet).
4. If relevant, what do you think the program should have done?
5. What is your league configuration (fictional/historical, etc.)
Fictional League with default setup (no fantasy draft), random cities and team names and then I changed one of the AC West teams to the Boise Bandits (we're 7-3 so far), includes AA and AAA ball.

I saw mention of hardware configs. Mine is an AMD Barton 2500+, 512 RAM. Not sure where to go from here.

Should I try to skip the day? Delete the league? Send in a save game file of some sort (if so, how?)?

I'm intentionally not trying to sim past the game that seems to be causing this crash in hopes that whatever happens with this crash might help others. It would be nice to see some sort of response...

So should I just try and sim past the (seemingly) offending game? I'd really like to continue my league... I really don't want to call the season on account of a bug...

Actually, if you could zip up the .dat files in the offending saved game and post a link to it here, it would help Markus immensly.
