No PBP for 1-6-3 DP
I had a player hit into a 1-6-3 double play with one out and the PBP didn't give me any indication what kind of play happened. It just gave me the wrapup of the inning. I don't know if it will help, but the game log showed this:
Batting: RHB J. Manseau 0-0: Ball 1-0: Called Strike 1-1: Foul Ball 1-2: Ball 2-2: Grounds into double-play, 1-6-3 (Groundball, 13) Top of the 1st over - 0 runs, 2 hits, 0 errors, 2 left on base. |

BUMP
Exact same thing just happened to me on a double-play come backer to the pitcher. Unfortunately I cleared the screen before I could make a screenshot of it, but there was one out, runners on first and third, and the guy "swung and made contact" and then suddenly "that's three down." I had to go to the game log to see that my guy had grounded into a 1-6-3 double play. And the game was also confused because there were still 2 men LOB, even though there should only have been 1 LOB after the double play. Can we get a TT number on this please? Thanks! |

1-6-3 DP's get no PBP?
Odd. Please get a screen shot. It will be a big challenge I realize. |

Got it for you. (I've seen this about 3 times now)
Men on first and second. You can see in the attached screenshot that there was only 1 out. Then the PbP shows that the inning ends without description. I did confirm in the Game Log that it was a 1-6-3 double play. You can also see that "two runners left on..." is incorrect. Should only be 1. Enjoy!

Phantom ER
In the bottom of the 8th inning of a recent game after giving up a run or two in the top half of the inning I put in my closer, even though I was at bat. Just wanted to make the move. He pitches a perfect inning and I win the game, he gets the save. He is, for some reason, charged with an earned run.
So, he pitches one inning of ball. In the inning he pitches no runs are scored. He has 1 ER. On top of that, my pitchers had a cumulative 9 ER (great, I know), even though I won the game 11-8. Interestingly, I also had a strange error in the 8th inning of another game. I'm rallying, have one on, one out and my best hitter up. Here's the dialogue I get: "Swings...the top of the 8th is over." ARGH! That weird glitch cost me a win!

I can't speak to your phantom ER. But the second glitch you saw is probably this issue:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=121359 Basically, there is no PbP text for a 1-6-3 DP. For now I'm treating it like the play-by-play announcer's mike cut-out temporarily. Hmmm. . . wonder if it does that on Bonds homeruns? ![]()

Couldn't find this problem already logged, so I put it in TT as #1964.
