Finances for non-affiliated teams in an affiliated league

While this is a really neat feature, I've noticed that despite the fact you can't set finances for non-affiliated teams in affiliated leagues, they are able to spend money with the top teams in the majors leagues. After simming a few seasons to check it out, I have independent minor league teams (at the AAA level) giving players 15m+ a year contracts. I had one give a guy 78m/4 yrs.

Either we need to be able to set finances for these teams, or they should only be allowed to sign players they can get to agree to a minor league contract.

I've noticed this also. And even worse i've noticed players just playing one year in some other league and getting into their HOF.

Anyways, they game its new, i'm sure they caught tons of thinks during their Beta, but there's nothing like a bunch of OOTP hungry hooligans too find the **** they missed.

I wish us luck with the patches to come.

May we all be happy. (Although i'm sure we wont be)

I've passed the problem along. Hopefully some sort of limitation can be put in on unaffiliated minor league teams in an affiliated league to keep them from doing this to the extent that they are.

Someone offered the idea of these treams being limited to minor league contracts. It's not just a good idea; it's a no brainer! How can an organization without a bigleague affiliate offer a bigleague contract? I don't care how much they offer, it's a MLC!
