Changed Lineups

How do I keep my lineups from being reset by the computer. I am the manager of a Rookie Ball team with a massive roster based upon my big team GM sending me too many players - 144 to be precise. It took me an hour to set my lineups and pitching staff. I managed the first game and then asked OOTP to sim until the end of the first month. When I checked back in it had completely changed my lineups and pitching staff. I have it set for me to be the only one who makes those decisions not the AI - in the manager home screen and I don't have it on vacation mode.

This was needless to say very very frustrating having wasted all that time. How do I fix this.

Also is there a way to fix the number of players I get without setting it to commish. I wanted to be like I was an actual minor league manager who was working his way up the system.

This is the first league have gotten to work after having my last 5 attempts crash or screw up in one way or another. So any help would be appreciated because I am thinkign about shelving the game til the first patch comes out.

He is manager of minor league team. The computer GM of this parent team is making the moves, so, that is correct. They can take what ever players they want. He has no say so in the matter.

Maybe a future feature that could give the minor league human manager more control, like locking players, or even giving approval for the move.

Call from GM.. Hey Sparky, I need a 3B for a couple weeks, is Smith ready?

Kind of different

Its not that they are taking my players. They are changing my lineups. Lets say I have Joe Smith at 1b for every lineup. He is still on my roster and has not been involved in any transactions but he is no longer the starter after I sim a little ways. Thats what frustrating. I understand if the player is demoted or promoted but when they are still on my roster to have it completely changed after working on it for so long sucks.

this was brought up with regard to the AI making changes in the major league roster as well when that control was set to the human player.

It should be fixed in the first patch.

What should happen is that if a player in your lineup is called up or demoted by the AI GM, there should be a blank hold in your lineup that you will need to fill. The rest of the lineup should remain unchanged.

Again, this should be fixed in Wednesday's patch. Post here or PM me if it is not.
