Fractured Wrist, DtD at 11% for two weeks?
I had a player fracture his wrist. He's day to day with an 11% performance drop for about 2 weeks. This doesn't sound right. He should at minimum be out for two weeks.

The injury has only a peripheral relationship to the amount of time missed since they are both randomly picked.

Define randomly picked? If you are saying that the game decides an injury and then picks randomly from a defined range for that specific injury you are correct. However, the length/severity of the injury is not completely random. *Note* - At least this was the case with the previous version...I have not actually looked at the injury file in this one yet, but I would assume it is similar. |

i thought there was some "injury specialist" brought in to give more realistic injury results, ie. correct time frames for corresponding injuries

you can't swing a bat with a fractured wrist.

Sure you can, if it is a minor hairline fracture...I'm sure the wrist would be sore, but it would most definitely be possible. Especially if it isn't the domimant hand. |

I imagine it could be done in MLB if it was a hairline fracture and the player was determined to play. |
