TT#s Not fixed? (#1671)

One I was really concerned with was TT#1671 about GMs refusing to take on any players with heavy contracts no matter how good they are or how competive their team is. Any chance this will be addressed in the future? Makes it impossible to rebuild properly... Here's the original thread: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=121800

I think this was tweaked, though I'm not %100 sure. One guy I couldn't move before I'm now making progress with, though maybe that's just because I changed his position from MR to CL, not that that should matter at all.

I'm still having issues with moving guys with big contracts, but I assumed it was because the prior management was on crack and game marginal players multi-million multi-year contracts (I'd like to put out a contract on THEM!).

This bug was claimed fixed in the patch. However, if you're still seeing this issue in the patched version, could you please post examples of the behavior you are seeing? The more detail, the better.

Thanks!

The problems I'm having are guys that are in the last year of their contract and are overpaid, but this typical for the last year. The players Overall ratings are around 50, and some of the players I'm trying to move have Team Options, but that of course could be declined by the other team. Perhaps the AI doesn't recognize the Team Option, and considers it guaranteed money?

Another solution would be for the other teams GM to say, "I'll take this overpaid veteran if you pay so much of his contract" which in real life happens ALL the time.

Bumping this. Does anyone have specific feedback on whether this is an issue in the patched version of the game? If so, what specific things are you seeing happen? Examples would help.

Thanks very much...

Since we haven't been able to replicate this, and haven't gotten more information, I'm going to move this to closed/claimed fixed. Please feel free to post a new thread if any issue comes up!

Thanks,

Steve
