The names no longer show on the field during the game. This is a post-patch issue that did not exist pre-patch.

I just checked and they are on mine, have you tried rebooting possibly.

Nope. I'll download the patch again. Maybe that will work. I had some glitches during the first download.

After redownloading, everything works but my saved universe, which I thought I finally had in final form (sigh). I guess it's not a bug after all, but some kind of corruption in the save file. I've had a couple of disappearing players, too, which I had not seen before this save. I guess I'll start again. (whine)

Sorry to hear about your problems.

In the mean time, it sounds like the problem you originally mentioned has not repeated. Is that correct? If so, I'll close out this thread...

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
