Auto-sim to date not working

I'm at 11-02-2006, and want to sim until 1-1-2010. Every time I select auto-sim to selected date, it only sims 2 days and stops. Before the patch I did not have this problem. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Does it give you a message when you stop? i've been running this the past two days at different times with no problems.

No, nothing. It just stops like any sim that you run does - I'm not managing any teams and I have no messages in my inbox.

First off, I apologize for the long delay in responding to this thread.

A few more questions for you:

1. Are you multi-tasking while you sim? We've seen a bug where sometimes keystrokes in other applications cause the sim engine to stop (it thinks you told it to quit).

2. Do you see this in any game you create, or just one? If it's the latter, what is the setup of the game?

1. Not multi-tasking, or at least not while I was simming. I just sat there and watched it stop without me doing anything.

2. I don't remember it happening in any other league before - the game was your basic fictional league, with all minors included in addition to many foreign leagues. I wish I could tell you more but I'm about ready to throw my monitor out the window from this game taking 5 minutes just to open saved games or stop simulating (it is eating 600 MB of RAM)

I'll try to look into this further. The memory issue is a known bug, and has been claimed fixed in patch 2, so hopefully you will be able to enjoy the game when that patch comes out on Friday.
