Converted league date

It seems to allow you to convert a 6.5 league that's on opening day, however when you convert it, the imported league date is 1/1. I don't understand why it reverts, it makes it silly to run 2 offseasons. Should I be converting the game before FA and such?

Also, OOTP 6.5 generates rookies when moving to a new season whether you have the draft in the offseason or June 1. What is happening to these players when you convert...could they be the source of the phantom nobodies?

The dates and rookies are known issues that there is unfortunately no intent of changing at this point, due to the complexity of the issue and the time that would be required to resolve.

The preseason in the first year of a converted league will not have spring training, to minimize the impact of that extra few months.

I'm sorry you waited this long for such an unhelpful response.
