AI never responds to trades

Whenever I make a trade offer the AI says they will get back to me but I never get a message. The trade either just happens or it doesn't happen. My game is patched and I don't understand why this is happening.

Can anyone help? Being unable to trade immediately is annoying enough but waiting for an answer that never comes is even worse.

Yes but also acting as a team. Is this the cause?

Yep, you must be the full manager of the team to receive their messages.

To do this, even as commish, go to the Available Jobs screen and sign up for the job of your choice.

We've put feedback in to try to make this a little clearer in the future...

Ok thanks for the response. Also I did go into Available Jobs and signed up to run the team in question. I get other team messages but do NOT get trade responses. I would say this is a bug and needs to be addressed.

Cowboys, once you have signed on to a team, are you saying that even then, you cannot receive response to newly initiated trades? Or are you saying that you are not receiving responses from trades you initiated when you were "acting as"?

The trades that were in progress before you signed on as GM are probably not going to complete successfully. But, if you try a new trade, does it work?

I am not receiving any messages regarding trades and I am playing in Commish mode, however I also used the Apply for Job screen to takeover my team. At no time did I ever use the Acting As section.

Hope that clears it up and thanks for the continued work on this problem.

Do you have a saved game currently in which you see this behavior? If so, could you zip it up, and, uh, wait for me to get back to you?

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
