AI needs to be fixed

The second patch is great, but there are still some issues that need to be fixed. I was playing a solo game. In the 9th inning i was winning 6-4, two outs and the computer was batting, next batter is the homerun leader, he is a lefty just like my pitcher, and suddenly, the AI brings a righty pinch hitter. That may happen but not when the batter is the homerun leader!! i hope it gets fixed soon.

There's a lot of unanswered questions in that scenario and, I'm guessing, a lot of differing opinions. The quick ones:

Home run leader how far into the season?
What was his record against left-handed pitching?
What was his record against this left-handed pitcher?
What was the record of the pinch-hitter vs left-handed pitchers?
Anyone on base?
Was the right-handed PH a contact hitter?

Guess I'm saying that I want to understand by getting the overall, detailed picture. At the same time, I'm saying that's an awfully broad statement to make based on one AB.

endgame is right; not enough information to judge this scenario. Another question: who is the *next* batter in computer team's lineup? Might the AI manager have anticipated an IBB?

Well, it was mid-season and the batter had 33 homers, but you were right, he had just 2 HR vs lefties and an avg of .223. i think that was the reason the AI put a righty pinch hitter. Thanks.

See? Look how soon that got fixed!

Thanks for the feedback, rb. Good hearing . . . the rest of the story.
