A new Big Problem

I created my hstorical league, made all the nessesary tweaks, finished spring training and made a few roster moves, playes a few weeks into the season and my Dodgers in 1977 are in first place...love the patch everything so far works, saving the league every week so if the game crashes I do nto lose anything, close the game and go to bed. Just got up and staretd the game up and all the stats are there but the game has reset it self to 1/01/1977. I go to my team page and the lineups are there, the new players are there, the minors are correct but the game says that the date is 1/01/1977 and no games have been playes, so I closed the game reloaded it and yep 1/01/1977. What happened. I do not want to spend hours again setting up the game only to have it do the same thing and yes I do have the new patch...

When you originally started your league, did you create a 'quickstart', and is it possible that when you fired the game up the next morning you opened that 'quickstart' file instead of continuing your league in progress?

I know very little about historicals, but I was thinking along the same lines or maybe a template issue. The fact that 'all the stats' were there is what puzzles me.

No I just started the game as i always do form the Continue game prompt....did not change any templates.

I went to the games I played in April and it showed that the were never played. Also here is a new oine. Again started the league in 1977 amd I created a general manager and gave him a birthdate of 07/29/1948, he shoud be 28, started the game and he is 57 as if we were playing the game in 2006. I went back and created another gen manager and he is now the correct age. I have changed nothing in the way I play or create leagues, it is the same way since i first bought the game the day it came out. this is all happening with the new patch and I have deleted and re-installed the gamne twice

Still having the same problem. I reloaded ehte game hoping this would solve my problem, it did not. So I will tell you all again...Created a fictional league in 1977. Got dpen loading everytnig and created a manager with a birth year of 1948 in July he should be 28, nope he is 57 and when I go back and check his birth year has been changed to 1919. I changed nothing. I started him a manager with the Dodgers. I resigned and then created a new manager born in 1948 and gave him then job with the Dodgers. I then chose the manger with the birth date of 1948 nad now I have a manger with the correct age...I went back and deleted the old one. This is happenning every single time I create a historical league and no i am not creating a quickstart leagu

This never happened before the new patch 1.02

Since this is not a default league, are you using Lahman I assume? What changes are you making for your league? Leaving it all at defaults or are you making changes? We could use the lg files on this I believe.. something isn't right, and we don't have enough info on what you are telling us at this moment.. Hmm.

I killed your last post, because I didn't want this thread to get too insane. Rasnell's info is in his thread.

The issue with the manager age has been logged as TT #1446.

Meanwhile, regarding your other issue, to send your league files, zip up all of the .dat files in your saved game directory, and e-mail them to tc@ootpdevelopments.com. It would help if you referred to this thread.
