Crashes

Never once had a crash with the game prior to this patch. However, I was just playing the game with regular fictional leagues.

Now, when I imported from 6.5, it ran okay back to April 1, but now crashes repeatedly. It is an online league, and one of the owners says he crashes whenever he exports. I crash when I try to advance beyond April 1. But I have also had other random crashes when working in the game.

Crashes related to imported leagues has been reported a few times. Markus has claimed a few fixes in this area but we'll have to wait and see when the next patch is tested or released. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this as well!

A whole new import of the same league, and the same results. I re-sim successfully to April 1, but during the first day of game simming, I always crash.

I keep getting a crash since the patch - second season of a league every time I try to go to the team trasaction tab. :|

Hi folks.

Well, a new patch was released today. Can you guys update me as to whether this has resolved any of your crashing issues?

Typically, with crashing, I have found that a full uninstall/reinstall helps.

Thanks for staying on top of this, it is much appreciated.

Hoping against hope it couldn't save the old savegame. I'll run through a couple of seasons with the patch & let you know.

I've never had the game crash on me until today with the latest patch (7/20)

It occurred after finishing a game and clicking leave game from the boxscore page

I also encountered a game crash tonight when trying to start my second season in a solo league. I happened on April 1, 1984. I was able to duplicate it several times by going through the days one day at a time.

I also had it crash (for the first time) after hitting leave game. None of the stats were stored for the game - it was as though it never happened.

This happened with build 12258, so I'm not sure if it's still an issue since I haven't played out a game with build 12260 yet. I'll try playing out some games with the latest build and see what happens.

Yes, it was a game file I've been using since the beginning.

I'm finding the most recent patch to be the buggiest yet. When I try to manage games (as opposed to quick sims), I crash every time I click on the leave game button. This is after the game has been completed, and I've been taken to the box scores automatically.

When I pinch hit for anybody, the player I pinch hit for is returned to the starting lineup once the team takes the field again.

I've had 2 minor league managers, both with multi-year contracts remaining, disappear in the middle of the season with no notification.

I've got one player who has been duplicated -- same name, same stats, same ratings. Both versions of the same guy are now on my team.

We're going backwards here...

Update:

I've played out 6 games using build 12260 and haven't had a crash yet, so maybe it's been fixed?
