Player name characters

I am seeing players names in game, listed in lineups, that have (do not know correct name) the apostrophy above the letter "I", it makes that "I" with apostrophy show up as a askey character instead.

I am using demo with latest patch as of today 7-21-06

and I am not talking about the normal lower case "i" either, I speak of the apostrophy used in some french and latin names

This is a known issue with names that have accents. It's related to the font. If this a big problem for you, you can customize the scoreboard font using these steps:

To change the scoreboard font:

The fonts directories are in the individual skin directories, so they change with the skin chosen.

Atomicclockradio is the font used on the scoreboard.

Changing a font is a matter of backing up the original, making a copy of the font you prefer, and renaming the copy to match the original font.
Go to the font folder in the individual skin directory, data/skins/ootp blue/fonts for example. In the fonts directory, rename atomicclockradio to atomicclockradio original as a backup. Then make a copy of your favorite font file and rename it to atomicclockradio.
